Sara McNeill Thurston, Broker


Sara specializes in residential real estate sales for locals and second home owners. She grew up in New Jersey, graduated from the University of Vermont and attended graduate school at Colorado State University. She has been a Vail Valley resident since 1985, having moved here to work at the Vail Nature Center for the Town of Vail Recreation Department. Sara has been a licensed Realtor® since 1995, along with a member of the Vail Board of Realtors, Colorado Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. She is also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). Sara lives in Edwards with her husband, Dan, and their five children. She enjoys alpine skiing, snowshoeing, biking, hiking, camping and traveling.

Dan McNeill, Associate


Dan was born in Mississippi and grew up in Colorado. He graduated from Regis Jesuit High School and attended Ft. Lewis College in Durango. He went on to pursue a career as a US Ski Team Member, making the Nor-Am Team in 1987. In 1989-1990 he was the US Professional Mogul Skiing Champion. Adding mountain biking to his professional sports career, Dan became the 1994 US Elite Class National Champion in 1994. A professional property manager since 1993 and a licensed real estate broker since 2001, Dan is the President of McNeill Property Management, Inc. and a partner in Avalanche Property Maintenance and Services. He is a Certified Association Management Specialist, Certified Manager of Community Associations, and a member of the Community Associations Institute. Dan lives in Edwards with his wife Sara, and their five children. He continues to pursue his passions of skiing and biking, along with enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors and traveling whenever his busy schedule permits.

Amelia Neat, Associate


Amelia was born and raised in Louisville, KY before moving to St. Petersburg , FL to attend Eckerd College. She moved to the Vail Valley in 1995 and became a licensed broker in 1998. Amelia sells real estate throughout Eagle County and specializes in residential sales. She enjoys the outdoors every season of the year while skiing, hiking, and biking. Amelia also loves to read, enjoys music and plays guitar. She lives in East Vail and Red Cliff with her American Bulldog, Buddy.
